COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - Overcast skies, a few sprinkles and isolated showers, and above average temperatures have graced us this Election Day.Most of us will continue to stay dry as we wrap up heading to the polls. Showers and storms will increase as we head into our overnight hours.Lows will only drop down into the mid-to-upper 60s. This is due to the increase in our showers, clouds, and winds.Wednesday is going to be our next best shot for some showers and storms. This system is not going to be a wash out by any means, but will still bring some useful rain. Highs will only push into the low-to-mid 70s.As we get past Wednesday, showers and mugginess alike will slowly decrease. However, temperatures will do the opposite, pushing back into the upper 70s.By the weekend we will dry out, while still seeing some clouds in our skies. Highs will drop into the low-70s, closer to average.
