Short film on teamwork by local non-profits premiers at Springer Opera House

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - A short film premiered at the Springer Opera House, but it’s not what you normally see on the big screen.This one focused on the teamwork by local non-profits to transform our community.A crowd filled the springer for the debut of the 30 minute long “Beyond The Threshold.”The documentary highlights the mission and impact of three local, faith-based nonprofits across the Fountain City: Mercy-Med of Columbus, Micah’s Promise, and Truth Spring.Following the screening, Jason Dennis served as emcee and moderated a panel discussion with leaders from these organizations - that meets health needs of the uninsured - fights human trafficking - plus provides housing and education.“We really want to say thank you.
