Keeping our eyes on the potential for showers this weekend — Columbus Community news

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - Continuing to keep it dry to finish out our week, but could showers start creeping in this weekend? As we have continued through the afternoon and evening, temperatures have warmed into the mid-to-upper 70s. We have seen plenty of sunshine, making it a pleasant Tuesday.Tonight, lows will drop into the mid and upper-40s, we can thank the calmer winds, and mostly clears skies for it.As we round the corner to the second half of the week, highs will continue to push above average. Some could even see 80s before the end of the week. All eyes are on the day full of spooky costumes, and adorable treats. While not everyone is going to be seeing rain, a few isolated showers are possible for our Halloween, especially at night.Sunday, will be the better rain maker, but still not everyone will get in on the rain.
