Heading Into a New Month with a Wet Start — Columbus Community news

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - Keeping it dry as we have progressed through the week, and it will stay that way. As we head into the weekend, however, rain coverage will start to make an appearance for the first time in about two and a half weeks.Tonight, thanks to a breeze our lows will only be dropping into the low-to-mid 50s. Mostly clear skies will break into mostly sunny skies for our Thursday.Highs will continue to warm up to finish off the week, pushing us into the 80s for our Thursday and Friday.Looking at our Halloween, isolated showers are possible, but thankfully most of the showers look to be holding off until after the festivities. Later in the night an increase in showers is possible.Sunday is looking to be our next best shot for some showers. With mostly cloudy skies and a rain coverage of 50%, we are looking to have a wet start to November.
