Crisp Fall Weekend

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - Happy Saturday! We’re in for a beautiful, crisp fall weekend. Temperatures are starting out in the mid 40s to near 50 this morning. It will be breezy at times, with gusts up to 15 mph. Expect dry weather and partly cloudy skies today, with highs near 70. Tonight will be even cooler as northerly winds bring in drier, cooler air under partly cloudy skies. By Sunday morning, the coldest spots will dip into the upper 30s, while most areas will see lows in the low to mid 40s. After a chilly start, temperatures will climb to the low 70s Sunday afternoon under mostly sunny skies. Chilly mornings, comfortable afternoons and mostly dry conditions will continue through next week. A stray shower is possible by Wednesday, with our best rain chance of the week arriving Thursday. Next weekend will be even cooler, with lows in the low 40s and highs in the upper 50s likely.
